Technology giant HP plans to create 50 new jobs at its base in Galway.

Martin Murphy, the group’s managing director for Ireland, said yesterday the multinational had decided to add an extra 50 jobs to its operations in Galway after filling ahead of schedule 105 new posts that it announced last year. The jobs will be for high-tech graduates and engineers, and will be in its Galway centre for the development of cloud computing (offsite data storage).
