A new initiative aimed at filling 1,500 vacancies in Irish-owned software companies has been introduced by Enterprise Ireland.

It is centred on a website entitled itshappeninghere.ie, where Irish- owned software companies can post their jobs. Jennifer Condon, manager of Enterprise Ireland's software division, said finding IT talent was the biggest challenge for software companies.
