SNICKERS Europe, which employs 170 people at Tullamore, Co Offaly, has been selected to exclusively produce the Swedish group's new workwear line. The new range, which is branded under the FlexiColour logo, will now account for up to 30 per cent of total production at the Tullamore plant, producing around 100,000 garments in 1997. In a statement yesterday, the company said production is expected to rise in the future and will secure continued employment. No new jobs are expected to be created at the moment.
