Research by the Golden Pages suggests that 61 per cent of Irish business people feel they are ill-prepared for the advent of the euro and its consequent implications for their businesses. Despite this high degree of uncertainty, it states that Irish business seems to be performing ahead of 1997 levels, with 67 per cent claiming business is better this year.
