TOTTENHAM Hotspur splashed out £10.8 million sterling on top players last year, the football club revealed yesterday.

TOTTENHAM Hotspur splashed out £10.8 million sterling on top players last year, the football club revealed yesterday.

The stars the club bought were Allan Neilson, Ramon Vega, John Scales and Stefan Iversen.

While it received £1.3 million from selling players, the £10.8 million it spent strengthening the squad dented interim pre-tax profits which fell during the six months to January 31st by £4.7 million to £6 million.
