JEFFERSON Smurfit's Swedish associate company, Munskjo, is paying DM160 million (£64.6 million) to acquire a German packaging company, PKA Dekor. Smurfit has a 29 per cent stake in Munskjo. A spokesman for Smurfit confirmed the acquisition. Munskjo has raised DM200 million in a Eurobond issue to fund the acquisition, with the surplus cash being used for working capital.
