The European Consumer Centre has published The Small Claims Court: A Consumers' Guide. The free booklet takes consumers through the small claims court procedure and complements the consumer centre's free litigation and advice service.

The small claims court has created a forum where consumers can assert their rights in an inexpensive way. In recent years, more and more consumers are using this procedure to resolve disputes with traders or service providers.
