A German company is to create 75 new jobs in Sligo town in a £3.3 million investment, supported by IDA Ireland. ProMinent Dosiertechnik is setting up an integrated engineering manufacturing facility in a newly completed 2,000 sq m building at the Finisklin Industrial Estate, which it recently purchased. The investment results from the Government drive to attract investment to the north-west region, according to the Tanaiste, Ms Harney, who announced the project, and follows an announcement by Abbot Laboratories last month of two new investments totalling £33 million, creating 310 new jobs.
