THE Government has been accused of getting its economic wires crossed by not providing grant aid to the services sector.

Addressing the Waterford Chamber of Commerce last night, Progressive Democrats leader, Ms Mary Harney said that 44,000 new jobs identified by the Labour Force Survey were mainly in the services industry "not a sector which receives generous support from the Government".
