New Collector General appointed

The Revenue Commissioners have appointed Michael Gladney as the new Collector General.

The Revenue Commissioners have appointed Michael Gladney as the new Collector General.

He replaces Gerry Harrahill who led Revenue's collection division for seven years and has recently been assigned as head of Revenue's Corporate Affairs and Customs Division.

A native of Co Carlow, Mr Gladney has spent more than18 years in the Office of the Revenue Commissioners.

He previously headed up Revenue's Limerick Tax District & South West Region's Large Enterprise Audit Unit.
