Glen Dimplex chief executive Seán O’Driscoll received an award for outstanding achievement at the inaugural Cork-Dublin Business Dinner last night.

The Cork Chamber of Commerce organised the event in the Burlington Hotel, Dublin, to promote the business links that connect the two cities.

Bord Gáis chief executive and Cork Chamber of Commerce president John Mullins said the event was an occasion for the communities to “create stronger ties”.
