The aerospace, defence and security sector generates almost £1 billion annually to the Northern Ireland economy and sustains 7,500 jobs. The report, conducted by the UK trade body ADS (Aerospace, Defence and Security), shows Bombardier Aerospace have £640 million of orders in the pipeline. In 2010 total sales from Northern Ireland were about £960 million.
