A second juror in the Maxwell fraud trial fell ill yesterday, prompting another 24 hour delay in deliberations and taking the jurors into the record books for an outstanding 10 days without reaching a verdict. The panel has now spent more than a week in retirement, staying at a London hotel by night and seeking a verdict to the trial by day.
