SCOTTISH Television swelled its cash resources to £37 million by the end of last year, £28 million more than at the end of 1994. The Glasgow based group reported record pre-tax profits last year of £20.2 million, £18.2 million more than in 1994, although results in 1994 were affected by a write off of £7.5 million following the disposal of a loss making subsidiary, Alternative International. Shareholders receive a total dividend payout of 16.25p, compared with 14.06p for 1994, on earnings per share of 27.7p against losses of 3.78p.
