IRISH Sales of annual premium pensions rose by 41 per cent to £4.24 million at Scottish Provident last year

IRISH Sales of annual premium pensions rose by 41 per cent to £4.24 million at Scottish Provident last year. Single premium pension rose from £4.5 million to £7.5 million according to figures issued yesterday.

Its annual premium life business also showed good growth in 1995 with new business up 9 per cent to £2.4 million, due to strong sales of its critical illness products. However overall single premiums business fell from £45.3 million to £30 million in line with the general downturn in that market in 1995.
