THE Independent Radio and Television Commission (IRTC) confirmed yesterday that Scottish Radio Holdings had been given permission to negotiate to acquire up to 15 per cent of Radio Ireland. Scottish Radio Holdings owns Radio Clyde in Scotland and Downtown Radio in Northern Ireland.
