ENGINEERING giant Rolls Royce yesterday secured a deal worth £300 million to supply aircraft engines for Emirates' new fleet of Airbus A330-200 craft.

Deliveries for the contract to supply Trent 700 units for the 16 airliners start in January 1999, and will make Emirates the only airline on the world to run purely Rolls Royce powered plan.
