CHRISTIAN Salvesen, the British distribution and specialist plant hire group, said its businesses were on track so far this financial year as it reported a forecast fall in annual profits yesterday. The group made £77.6 million sterling before tax in the year to March 31st, compared with £104.1 million in the previous year.
