The value of retail sales rose again in December, figures from the Central Statistics Office have revealed. The data shows that the value of retail sales rose by 1 per cent in December giving a year-on-year increase of 12.9 per cent.

Final figures for November showed that the value of retail sales rose 3.5 per cent on the month (11.2 per cent year-on-year).
