MR Brian Wilson, former managing director of AIB, has won a promotion at the World Bank. Mr Wilson has been appointed vice president for financial policy and institutional strategy in Washington. Currently director for financial policy and risk management, he joined the World Bank in May 1995 as senior adviser in the financial sector development department.
