Volex Group plc, the international electrical and electronic cable assemblies group which has a major manufacturing facility in Co Mayo, has reported a 48 per cent increase in turnover to £320 million for the year ended March 31st. Pre-tax profit increased by 27 per cent to over £23 million. With headline earnings per share up overall by 27 per cent to 55.5p, the full year dividend is recommended at 25.7p, an increase of 7.1 per cent over last year.
