PETERHEAD Group, formerly World Fluids, has acquired the independent mobile crane hire company, Refinery Crane Plant Services (Killingholme) Ltd, of Immingham, Humberside, in Britain. The cash consideration of £534,000 was paid from existing resources. Refinery Crane Plant Services, and its wholly owned subsidiary, RCPS (Crane Hire) Ltd, had pre tax profits of £124,000 sterling on turnover of £2.4 million, in the year to August 31st, 1996. At that date the companies had aggregate net assets of £333,000.
