THE French drinks group Pernod which owns Irish Distillers, has agreed to buy the Ricqles soft drink from Perrier Vittel of the Nestle group for an undisclosed amount. The transaction will be effective on January 1st, 1997. Ricqles has an annual turnover of 10 million francs (£1.2 million).
