The Irish Permanent, the country's biggest mortgage lender, has reduced its fixed rate mortgage by half a per cent

The Irish Permanent, the country's biggest mortgage lender, has reduced its fixed rate mortgage by half a per cent. The bank cut its five year fixed rate from 7.75 per cent to 7.25 per cent. The move indicates the direction in which the bank believes mortgage rates will move over the short term. See page 2
