STILL on the subject of Concorde, Pepsi has denied suggestions that a blue painted Concorde cannot fly at supersonic speed. The allegation was that the French jet, painted for the launch of Pepsi's new brand image, could only fly at subsonic speed in blue because any paint other than white would peel in the heat. Pepsi's spin doctors were quickly out of the traps to say that this was not the case.
