ACUMEN, a cross-border scheme expected to create 200 new jobs over the next two years, is to receive £155,000 in funding from the European Peace and Reconciliation Programme. The ACUMEN programme will use the money to support an additional 18 companies along the Border counties. In the past five years the programme has supported over 100 companies and says its efforts have increased cross-border trade by £10 million.
