Global sales of personal computers will grow by 12.2 per cent in the second half of the year, a leading US market research group said yesterday. International Data Corporation (IDC) said its "mixed, but modest growth" forecast reflects a warming of the global PC market despite economic problems in Asia and Russia. PC sales were up 9.6 per cent during the first half of the year, IDC said.
