Two partners in the public relations firm Murray Consultants Limited have undertaken not to hold a board meeting within the next fortnight, the High Court was told yesterday.

In the light of that undertaking, Ms Justice Macken vacated an interim order granted to Mr Terence Horgan last week restraining Mr Joseph Patrick Murray and Mr James Milton, of Murray Consultants, from holding a board meeting.

On consent, she adjourned the matter to March 8th when the court will hear an application for an interlocutory order restraining Mr Murray and Mr Milton from holding board meetings pending the outcome of legal proceedings.

Last week, Mr Horgan, of Deerpark Road, Castleknock, Dublin, who claims to be a partner in the firm and remains a director and shareholder, secured an interim order restraining a meeting of the board of Murray Consultants on the grounds the notice given was inadequate.

Mr Paul Gardiner, for Mr Horgan, said the application for an interim order arose out of proceedings taken by his client against the respondents. Yesterday, Mr Gardiner said he would be seeking an interlocutory injunction against the respondents. He said the matter could be adjourned for two weeks on consent.
