The exploration company, Pan Andean, is in negotiations to establish a consortium to drill its Chipiri oil/gas block in Bolivia early next year at a cost of $7 million.

Recent oil discoveries in the area and the decision by Repsol of Spain to drill again close to Chipiri enhances the value of the block, said Dr John Teeling, chairman. He was speaking after the company announced its annual results.
