US power company PacifiCorp yesterday questioned the ability of rival Texas Utilities Company to raise enough funds to take over The Energy Group.
As the war of words intensified between the two American companies, PacifiCorp said Texas would have to offer more than 820p sterling a share to trump its recent bid of 765p.
