THE Northern Whig printing company in Belfast has announced a new £804,000 investment project which is expected to create 17 new jobs over the next three years, bringing to over 40 the firm's total workforce. The group currently employs 25 people in printing and "bookbinding operations in an area of high unemployment in north Belfast. The company has formed an alliance with a London printer, Direct Image Systems and Communications, which has substantial business with the City of London and with other parts of Europe and the Far East.
