THE value of Irish exports to non EU states dropped by 6 per cent in April to £559 million compared with £597 million in the same month in 1995. Figures issued by the Central Statistics Offices also record a sharp increase in imports from nonEU states in the same month, with the total value of imports up 30 per cent to £725 million.
