Manufacturing exports from Northern Ireland increased by 18 per cent in the 12 months to the end of March, topping the £3 billion sterling mark, one of the North's new Ministers of State said yesterday. Mr Adam Ingram said manufacturing exports grew by £470 million to £3.08 billion. Manufacturing exports to the Republic increased by £12.5 million to £710 million, he added.
