NORTHERN Irish house prices rose by over 21 per cent in the year to March 1996, according to an Ulster Bank house price survey. The quarterly survey found a substantial increase in all sectors of the market. The bank said the survey shows that the price differential between Northern Ireland and other UK regions is beginning to narrow. The overall average price for the province now stands at £50,064.
