Irish medical software company, Systems Solutions Limited, is to provide St James Hospital with new software to improve its pharmacy system.

The new CliniSCRIPT software will include a new stock control function, allowing ward stock management across the hospital and satellite pharmacies, as well as a new interface into the patient administration system.

Mr Martin Buckley, information systems manager with the hospital, said the new interface to the patient administration system would integrate patient profiles with drugs being dispensed within the pharmacy.
