RYANAIR has said it expects to employ 200 people by the end of the year at its new tele marketing centre in Dublin.

The centre, which was officially opened by the Minister for Enterprise and Employment Mr Bruton yesterday, currently employs 110 people.

The company, known as Ryanair Direct, has been supported by Forbairt in the £2.5 million investment, based at Conyngham Road, near Heuston Station.

It will enable Ryanair to expand its existing direct sales operation and to develop new overseas markets. The company said it expects to deal with up to five million calls this year.
