MS Ethna Fitzgerald (above) has been appointed president of the Rotary Club of Dublin, the charitable organisation. Ms Fitzgerald, a conference consultant, is also a member of the advisory board of the Salvation Army. The Rotary Club supports a £21 million (€26.7 million) annual foundation to help oversees students, and a programme to eradicate polio and a broad range of other projects.
