NATIONAL Australia Bank has set up a European capital markets operation in London. The move is aimed at improving services for clients and at helping companies from Australia and New Zealand to access international capital markets. The new division will give the group a comprehensive European wholesale banking operation with treasury, corporate banking and finance and capital markets services, according to NAB's group treasury general manager, Mr Mike Aynsley.
