TSB Bank has created two managed lump sum investment funds. The Select funds allow customers to invest in a range of investments including equities to benefit from the potentially higher returns available in the stock market. The minimum investment is £5,000.

Investors can invest in two types of investment funds depending on their risk profile - the Select Cautious Fund and the Select Active Fund.

Each fund invests in a different mix of Irish and international company shares, government bonds, property and cash deposits. The Select Cautious Fund is aimed at the more cautious investor as the majority of investments are held in lowrisk deposit type assets.

The Select Active Fund is for the investor who is prepared to take risks for higher returns. The fund contains a mix of assets with a high equity content.
