MR Paul O'Callaghan, has succeeded Mr Brian Colivet as managing director of FBD Holdings, the agricultural insurance and property group. Mr Colivet, who has retired, joined the group in 1971 as its first general manager. Before joining FBD, he was group financial director of the HB/Urney division of W.R. Grace and Company.

Mr O'Callaghan has been managing director designate for over a year. Prior to that he had been finance director. He joined the group as financial controller 25 years ago, following spells as financial controller of the HB/Urney group and company secretary of James Crean.
