Mr Patrick Lynch, who has held several positions with Shell Ireland, has been appointed as the new chairman of FAS, the State training agency. The Tanaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Ms Harney made the appointment. Mr Lynch will replace outgoing chairman, prominent trade unionist Mr Chris Kirwan.
