New boss for Seafield

SEAFIELD, the warehouse and haulage company, is to get a new executive chairman next month

SEAFIELD, the warehouse and haulage company, is to get a new executive chairman next month. He is Mr Peter Duffy who will be taking over from Mr Brian Chilver.

Mr Chilver will retire on September 30th and Mr Duffy joined the Seafield board yesterday as a non-executive director.

Mr Duffy began his career as an analyst in James Capel, Stockbrokers before becoming a founder member of the Questor investment column in the Daily Telegraph. He moved to fund management in Touche Remnant ending up as managing director of the £225 million sterling TR Property Investment Trust.
