The takeover of Neurex Corporation by Athlone-based Elan Corporation is expected to be completed tomorrow. This follows approval of the deal by the Neurex shareholders at an annual meeting. Neurex will now become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Elan and each Neurex shareholder will receive 0.51 of an Elan American Depositary share, representing one ordinary share of Elan, for each Neurex ordinary share.
