MEMBERS of the National & Provincial Building Society yesterday voted to accept a £1.35 billion sterling takeover bid by Abbey National.
The merger, which will see the disappearance of Bradford based N & P after 150 years, will see the new combined company become the second largest mortgage lender in Britain.
