Megazyme International Ireland, which produces diagnostic kits for the cereal, food and fermentation industries, has been presented with a DHL Export Finalist award. The company is the fourth of five finalists which will compete for the 1998 DHL Export Award. The company has an annual turnover of about £1 million, with 97 per cent of its business coming from exports. The company is run by husband and wife, Dr Barry McCleary and Ms Angela Kennedy. Among its international customers are Guinness, Nestle and Kellog.
