The Mean Fiddler Organisation, the UK's biggest promoter of live music, is to be floated on the stock market later this year to raise capital to enable it to expand abroad, owner Mr Vince Power said yesterday. Mr Power's organisation was behind Tribal Gathering in May, London's Fleadh in June, the Phoenix Festival in July and the three-day Reading Festival, which starts today. The company is already planning to run Fleadhs in New York, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Toronto and Melbourne next year.
