THOMAS McDonogh & Sons, the Galway based fertiliser and hardware group, has reported strong profit growth in the year to the of September 1993, the most recent set of results filed with the Companies Registration Office.

In that period, profits before tax jumped from £3.5 million to £4.2 million as turnover fell from £50.5 million to £46.4 million. The accounts showed that the two directors, Mr Thomas McDonogh and Mr Donagh O'Donoghue, received packages totalling almost £268,000 compared to just under £202,000 the previous year.
