A new initiative introduced in Manchester is aiming to bring the benefits of new technology to smaller enterprises which may not otherwise be able to afford it. The business community there has created a "virtual world" for the city's 35,000 small and medium-sized companies, where they can trade, exchange information and garner business expertise.
