Institutional Investor magazine has ranked Cognotec chairman Mr Brian Maccaba among the top 30 individuals harnessing the power of the Internet to transform the financial services industry in Europe and Asia.

Cognotec, which supplies e-commerce foreign-exchange trading products, has just appointed a new chief financial officer, Mr David Ledsham. Mr Ledsham takes over from Mr Tim Lorigan who will retain a consultancy role with Cognotec.
