NEVER mind the Lotto. Prize bond sales have never been better. The latest results show a 24 per cent surge in sales in the first six months to £15.3 million. A record total of £138.5 million is now invested in bonds. Over £4.8 million has been paid out in prizes over the past year in amounts ranging from £100 to £100,000.
